It's rare to find someone who doesn’t LOVE the capital city of Madison, Wisconsin (except, perhaps, in the dead of winter). For the last 17 years Blackhawk Church cancels worship services the first Sunday in May and goes out into the community to serve. Everyone is given the opportunity to sign up for specific projects online that partner directly with service organizations in our community. The goal is to connect people in a way that allows them to see, up close, the real needs in our community. The hope is that they continue to Love Madison throughout the whole year on their own, or with family and friends.
