A main goal at Blackhawk Church is to help people understand and fall in love with the Bible. We realize this is no easy feat. To many, the Bible is completely irrelevant and, in many ways, it is. It was written to a culture 2000 years before ours. The beautiful reality is that the core message weaves forward through our history and is tangible and applicable for us today. Love This Book presents the story arc of the biblical narrative in four manageable sections. Each section gets to the crux of what is actually happening in the cultural context. Journals were provided to allow the reader to follow along with Sunday messages, process what they learned and apply it to their daily lives.
To connect the material world with the spiritual, rich, Pantone ink was printed on Kraft-Tone, French Paper for a quality of earthiness. For a final touch of stateliness, foil was applied to represent the mystery of the Kingdom come.
