April 2020 was a moment in time that will remain emblazoned in our hearts and minds. Covid-19 wreaked havoc around the world and, just like that, the Church closed its doors leaving many wondering how they would connect with other believers, friends and family moving forward. Blackhawk church made a conscious effort to ensure online worship was accessible to everyone during a time of confusion and isolation. The congregation was encouraged to get creative and send social media invites to friends, neighbors and acquaintances to attend church in their homes and find community in a brand new way. In this ever changing, unpredictable world-gone-mad, the solid gem we hold in our hand is the hope of God's promise to humanity in Jesus Christ.
